Our Mission
How We Got Started
For 10 years, prior to starting On Mission Global, we have been helping communities and ministries around the world with infrastructure projects and training.
Starting in 2012, we facilitated water chlorination projects in mountain villages in Peru. In 2018, we installed our first solar power system at Akot Christian Ministries / Abundant Life Elementary School, and wired the compound for lights and power.
In early 2020, as Covid-19 was hitting, we installed three separate solar systems at the farm of Mercy International Children’s Home in Petchabum, Thailand. These systems provided power to grind feed for the animals, pump water for the fish farm, and irrigate the crops.
In 2021, in partnership with Living Water Community Transformation (LWCT) and the Director of Baptist Churches in the Refugee Camps in N. Uganda, we went into the refugee camps to train the S. Sudanese women to run their small businesses more profitably, and to write business plans to help them to get micro-loans.
Seeing the tremendous benefit of these kind of projects for these communities and ministries, we formed this non-profit in late 2021, to continue and expand this work.
Our Mission
Our heart is to come alongside missions groups in difficult countries to help them meet the physical and spiritual needs of the communities where they serve, in Jesus’ name. We fund projects to improve infrastructure, apply knowledge and sustainable technology to solve problems, and provide training and tools to help these ministries and communities flourish. We send teams to assist hold events, provide training, and to encourage local workers. Our vision is to see more flourishing ministries that meet the needs of their communities in Jesus’ name around the world.

Our Projects
Our past projects have ranged from water purification to solar power, from business to vocational training. We have worked in Peru, South Sudan, Uganda, and Thailand. For 2022, we have a solar power project underway for Thailand and Business training for Uganda, with more to come as we receive funding.
Solar in Thailand
Installing solar power at the Mercy International Children’s home in Phrae will help the ministry become more self-sufficient and better provide for the children under their care.
Business training in Uganda
Providing basic bookkeeping and business training for South Sudanese refugees in the camps in northern Uganda helps these women provide for their families.
